Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and exercising.
  • Administer treatments, conduct tests, perform procedures, and collect specimens as directed.
  • Document and report observations and outcomes of treatments and tests as necessary.
  • Assist in the transportation and mobility of residents as required.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, including changing bed linens.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of a state-approved training program for geriatric nursing assistants. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Registration with the state registry is mandatory.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic. Competence in documenting care provided is essential.
