We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Nurse to join our team at Caperegency. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and execute the comprehensive Infection Control and Prevention Program
  • Communicate and inform the Infection Control and Prevention Committee of any infection-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to the Infection Control & Prevention Program
  • Evaluate the status of infection-related practices in the facility via monthly surveillance rounds
  • Assist the Staff Development Director in the education of employees in Infection Control Practices, Policies, and Procedures
Requirements
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice nursing in this state
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions in a timely manner
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
