Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Learning Experience. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Leadership: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Masterfully deliver our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Safety and Well-being: Prioritize a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all children in your care.
  • Family Communication: Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a combination of mobile apps and in-person discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with families and colleagues, creating a warm and welcoming environment that promotes learning and play.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including a high school diploma or equivalent, and ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Possess extended experience in a childcare setting, with a history of classroom leadership roles and a deep passion for early childhood education.
  • State Compliance: Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills: Demonstrate proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
  • Physical Resilience: Possess the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the role.
