Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary:

RK Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer combination to transport goods and materials to and from our warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, secure, and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatchers to receive delivery or pick-up instructions
  • Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to company policy and statutory regulations
  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service
  • Help load trucks and train on equipment
  • Handle materials and must hold a valid Class A CDL
  • Must be eligible to drive under RK's insurance policy
  • Must be willing to work overtime
  • This is a local position with home daily

Qualifications:

  • Receives direct supervision
  • Performs technical responsibilities
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques, and procedures
  • Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures
  • Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager
