Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Pender. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to our guests, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to guests, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring guests' nutritional needs are met.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
  • Observe guests' skin and report any changes to licensed nurses.
  • Provide skin care as needed, promoting wound prevention and healing.
  • Meet guests' mental health and social service needs, engaging in activities that promote relaxation and enjoyment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
