Part-Time Weekend Caregiver Opportunities

Visiting Angels of O'Fallon/Westplex is a leading provider of in-home care services, seeking dependable caregivers to join our growing team.
This part-time opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income, including stay-at-home parents, retirees, veterans, and those entering their second career. If you have experience caring for a family member or being a full-time parent/homemaker, we encourage you to apply.
We are also interested in candidates with experience working in Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing, Senior Homes, or Senior Centers as caretakers. Additionally, teachers, child care workers, and those looking to give back to their community are encouraged to apply.
If you have certifications like Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid, and Personal Care Aid, we would love to speak with you.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Hours: All shifts available, including weekends-only for those looking for extra income
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Provide ambulation support, bathroom assistance, hygiene care, and redirections with encouragement and patience.
- Support patients with advanced dementia, providing non-medical assistance in their homes.
- Offer mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers.
- Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders.
- Monitor fluid intake and output.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
- Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers.
Requirements
- Must be within a commutable distance of the listed area.
- Must be encouraging and patient in providing advanced dementia care.
- Must be 21 years or older to apply.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
- Current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification - a plus.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
