At Mammoth Energy Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and analyze equipment to identify areas of improvement and implement repairs as needed.
- Perform full or partial overhauls on diesel engines and hydraulic systems, including engine disassembly and assembly.
- Examine parts for defects and clean and lubricate equipment as necessary.
- Test-run repaired equipment to ensure adequacy of repairs.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling diesel engine and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of diesel engine and hydraulic systems, including mechanical and electrical system components.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work irregular hours and be on call at all times.
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements, including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
