Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Leonard Kirtz School. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide speech and language assessments and hearing information as needed for the Evaluation Team Report (ETR).
  • Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement goals based on assessments, and provide progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a School Speech-Language Pathologist certificate/license, as required by the Ohio Department of Education.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Ability to engage others with understanding and empathy.
