Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Forney. As a Math Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching math to students in a group setting, using our proprietary Mathnasium Method. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver individualized instruction and support students in achieving their math goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Tutoring: Teach math to students in a group setting, using the Mathnasium Method and curriculum.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our team to deliver individualized instruction and support students in achieving their math goals.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in math education.
  • Center Operations: Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
Requirements
  • Math Competency: Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check and provide work authorization.
