Job Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in an inpatient setting. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a dedicated surgical team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiothoracic surgeries, including carotid, vascular, and endovascular procedures
  • Conduct coronary artery bypass grafting, atrial fibrillation surgery, and other complex procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team, including RNs, MAs, and PAs, to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in research and development of robotic and transcatheter platforms for valve pathology
  • Manage complex valve repair/pathology, mitral valve repair, and aortic valve and complex aortic root operations
  • Perform transcatheter and minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, adult congenital cardiac repair, and minimally invasive atrial fibrillation surgery
  • Contribute to thoracic oncologic procedures and hybrid coronary artery revascularization and atrial fibrillation surgery
Requirements
  • Active WI medical license
  • Board certification (BC)
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred)
