**Job Summary**

Rensa Filtration, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Aurora, IL.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead our procurement and supply chain functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Direct materials planning for made & purchased items based on production demand, using MRP and determining target stock levels where necessary.
  • Supplier Relationships: Maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers, reflecting both a customer and vendor perspective.
  • Logistics and Negotiation: Monitoring daily production/activity workflow, negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and eliminate potential breaks in the supply chain.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Interface with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams, providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in sourcing processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies, sound time management and organizational skills, and logistics experience and freight negotiation experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently, with excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
  • Able to lift 20 lbs. and be on the production floor as needed.
