Position Overview

Key Responsibilities


Conduct thorough evaluations to assess rehabilitation potential, identify patient needs, and develop personalized treatment plans with specific goals.

Establish both short-term and long-term goals for patient progress.

Ensure the safe and proper use of therapeutic equipment, maintaining inspection and maintenance logs, and reporting any issues with equipment.

Adhere to the prescribed medical regimen for each patient, observing necessary precautions as required.

Employ safe treatment methodologies, including compensatory strategies for swallowing and communication challenges.

Select appropriate diagnostic tools to evaluate all facets of communication and swallowing abilities.

Prepare discharge summaries for each patient upon their final visit to outpatient services.


Qualifications
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
