Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior District Legal Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance and advice to the executive leadership of the district, as well as overseeing and coordinating the district's response to public records requests and citizen inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to the executive leadership of the district.
  • Oversee and coordinate the district's response to public records requests and citizen inquiries.
  • Implement the directions of the Department's General Counsel and ensure that legal advice provided by staff comports with statewide direction.
  • Develop and direct staff to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in law, with knowledge of litigation and civil rules of procedure and practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $132,000 - $142,000 per year, based on the company's location and industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
