A successful Commercial Refrigeration Systems Technician consistently executes precise installations of intricate refrigeration systems, ensuring peak performance and surpassing client expectations. - Skillfully assemble and install various commercial refrigeration systems.
- Connect refrigeration units to electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.
- Install additional components, such as refrigeration line sets, as required.
- Thoroughly test and calibrate new systems for optimal functionality.
- Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the installation process.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to established protocols and regulations, particularly when handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
- Ensure the proper disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize risks.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Assist with inventory management to ensure adequate parts and supplies are available.
- Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Keep accurate records of installations using service software.
- 3-5 years of experience in installing ice machines, condensing units, line sets, and hanging evaporator coils for walk-in coolers/freezers is essential.
- EPA Certification is mandatory.
- A solid understanding of refrigeration systems and their components.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and highly tech-savvy.
- Experience with Epass appliance service software is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess personal hand tools.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
