Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operations within the unit during their shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and quality care.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluations of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Work with experts and fellow managers to foster a teamwork-oriented environment that drives improved outcomes.
  • Champion a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery as needed.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Provide input on hiring, training, and staff development, ensuring compliance with policies and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and manage labor resources in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Oversee inventory management and assist with supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Completion of a Registered Nurse Diploma program.

No travel is required for this position.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role.
