Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team at INEOS Nitriles. As an Occupational Health Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.

Job Purpose:

The Occupational Health Nurse will develop, implement, and evaluate the Occupational Health Program at our facility. This includes providing medical care to employees, conducting health surveillance programs, and promoting injury and illness prevention.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Provide nursing evaluations and care to employees with illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop and implement health surveillance programs to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Conduct annual physicals and testing for employees, including hearing, vision, blood work, and pulmonary function.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and INEOS policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Manage leave processes and disability management programs.
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety topics.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with Occupational Health Certification or 5+ years of occupational experience.
  • Specimen Collector Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Audio Testing certification with CAOHC.
  • Pulmonary Function Testing qualified with NIOSH.

  • Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Job specific: Balance, stoop/bend, squat, stand, lift, simple grasp, repetitive motion of wrist, hands, and fingers.
  • Need to evaluate understanding of proper body mechanics for sitting at desk.
