Custodian Substitute

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Substitute Custodian to join our team at ESS Education. As a Substitute Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our school facilities.

• Perform maintenance duties before, during, and after school hours to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
• Clean all areas of school buildings, including floors, windows, furniture, bathrooms, and classrooms, to meet district standards.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, providing direct support to classroom teachers as needed.
• Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate areas of the building, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Complete grounds keeping duties, including lawn care and landscaping, to maintain a visually appealing and safe outdoor environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State/FBI Criminal History Clearance.
• VA Child Protective Service Clearance.
• Tuberculosis Test.
• Drug Screen (varies by district).
