Sysco is seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport food and beverages to customers.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to hours of service and weight limits.

Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of customer delivery experience.
  • 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience.
  • 6 months of food and beverage experience.
  • 2 years of consistent work history.
