Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid SLP license or certification in California.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience: Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
