Position Overview

This role is focused on conducting ultrasound examinations to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and managing patient care. We are looking for a dedicated full-time Vascular Ultrasound Specialist with RVT credentials to enhance the operations of our imaging department.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of a recognized program in Radiologic or Sonography Technology.
  • Licenses/Certifications: RVT certification is mandatory, in addition to Basic or Advanced Life Support certification.
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Proficient in patient handling, and familiar with ultrasound equipment maintenance and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound/sonography assessments on patients, prepare individuals for examinations, and ensure the technical excellence of images produced.
  • Input and track patient information, and perform quality checks on ultrasound devices.
  • Recognize and report any incidents, grievances, or equipment issues.
  • Be available for emergency calls within the department, comply with all operational protocols, and foster personal and professional development.
  • Exhibit a commitment to providing compassionate and individualized care for patients and team members.
