Critical Care Anesthesiologist

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join our team at Acuity International. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthetics to patients undergoing medical, dental, and surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Anesthetist and hold a current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRBA). They will also be proficient in using basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-anesthetic screenings, including physical evaluations, patient interviews, and document results.
- Select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications or treatments to patients.
- Administer post-anesthesia medications or fluids to support patients' cardiovascular systems.
- Evaluate patients' post-surgical or post-anesthesia responses, taking appropriate corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing training program.
- Current unrestricted U.S. (State) Medical license as a Nurse Anesthetist.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.
