Sigma Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in Tigard, OR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function/occupation and developmental disorders.
Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs to meet the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients.
Promote patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.
Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
Ensure a smooth transition of care by coordinating efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.
Requirements:
Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
Basic Internet navigation skills.
Covid test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
SNF Experience preferred.
Work Environment:
This position will be working in a healthcare setting, providing rehabilitation services to patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
