Key Responsibilities:
1. Sanitation Duties: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel common areas. Manages inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens. Delivers necessary housekeeping items to guest accommodations.
2. Customer Satisfaction: Ensures guest contentment regarding housekeeping services. Proactively assists and addresses requests in a prompt and positive manner, delivering exceptional service. Collaborates effectively with team members to meet guest and departmental needs, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
3. Health and Safety Compliance: Maintains a clean and secure work environment in accordance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations. Reports maintenance requirements and service challenges. Knowledgeable about the safe handling of cleaning chemicals used in the housekeeping department. Adheres to all safety protocols for guest and employee incidents and is familiar with emergency procedures.
4. Self-Management: Efficiently organizes and prioritizes tasks to meet productivity expectations. Complies with company attendance policies, grooming standards, and general operational procedures. Participates in all mandatory departmental and organizational meetings. Responsible for the appropriate use of all equipment and supplies.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is advantageous. Must demonstrate attention to detail, customer service orientation, and the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
