Job Summary:

As a Sales Manager at Magnolia Bluffs Casino, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the hotel management team to identify opportunities and create operational plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue growth
Collaborate with hotel management to create operational plans and execute them
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
Create a positive guest experience by ensuring all rooms' department areas meet or exceed guest expectations
Implement proactive room strategies to increase revenue
Demonstrate ability to proactively manage situations and assist in implementing corrective actions
Work closely with Director of Sales/Convention Services Manager to sell and coordinate group events
Develop relationships with new customers and maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
Coordinate with the sales department on creation of sales campaigns
Ensure thorough communication of plans for events to all related departments
Prepare for and attend weekly revenue management meetings
Prepare for and attend weekly BEO meetings
Prepare for and attend weekly sales meetings

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred
Three (3) years of experience in the sales and marketing sector, preferably in hospitality
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. occasionally
