Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Professional Nurse to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Care Planning
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
Clinical ExpertiseUtilize your advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based care, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in cardiology.
Effective CommunicationCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination and promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Professional DevelopmentEngage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with industry trends and advancements in cardiology, and contributing to the growth and development of our nursing team.
Quality ImprovementParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Education and Licensure
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
Experience and CertificationsLess than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse, with certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
Preferred QualificationsBSN degree preferred, with other preferred RN attributes being unit-specific.
