Job Summary:

PruittHealth is seeking a skilled Housekeeper HCC to provide cleaning services and maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and the public. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility meets state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors, and occasionally spray buff, strip, or wax floors, following center procedures.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Empty trash cans, clean exterior, clean interior, and replace with a clean can liner.
• Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets, following center procedures.
• Clean glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
• Clean behind and underneath furnishings.
• Follow infection control standards while performing cleaning.
• Prevent/remove wax/dirt buildup in corners, around baseboards, and in doorways.
• Change soiled privacy curtains and draperies for the outside windows as needed.
• Remove and re-hang curtains and draperies for the outside windows, using a ladder.
• Dust/damp clean surfaces in patient/resident rooms (furniture, bed frames, windowsills, etc.) following center procedure.
• Move furniture to clean behind/underneath, according to center procedures.
• Turn bed mattresses after cleaning.

Requirements:

• No minimum experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required by date of hire.
