About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Float to join our team at Yoke's Fresh Markets. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time, communicating clearly with guests and fellow associates, and demonstrating suitable physical abilities to safely perform assigned tasks and duties.
- Promoting sales through active discussions with guests, offering over-the-counter product recommendations, and discussing current promotions and service information.
- Providing exceptional service by greeting guests, informing them of special features and services offered by the Pharmacy Department, and answering questions on drug interaction, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintaining licensure in the State of Washington and/or Idaho and performing various tasks such as compounding and dispensing prescribed medications, reviewing and filling prescriptions, determining formulas and ingredients needed for prescriptions, and entering data into pharmacy files and charge system.
- Directing pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, training staff on safety procedures, and ensuring proper sanitation and housekeeping in the pharmacy.
- Securing the pharmacy and performing as the Pharmacy Manager in their absence, including handling paperwork, reporting, scheduling, and software upgrading.
- Operating equipment such as scales, register, needles, and gloves, and communicating guests' requests with accurate and complete instruction for special orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree;
- One to three months related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- State Pharmacy License;
- Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card;

Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
