About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support services, including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety, as directed by the Charge Nurse.

• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, adhering to established standards and guidelines.

• Assist with vital sign measurements, weights, and other patient data collection, reporting to the Charge Nurse as needed.

• Ensure proper use of equipment and supplies, maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment.

• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.

• Long-term care experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

• Physical stamina to perform duties, including standing, walking, and lifting, with assistance when necessary.
