POSITION SUMMARY

This role is integral to the pharmacy operations, where the individual will execute a variety of technical and administrative functions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Key responsibilities encompass the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining accurate pharmacy documentation, and overseeing inventory levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated professionalism

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program
  • Experience in sterile medication preparation
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical terminology and calculations

  • Proficient in data entry

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Preferred minimum of two years of experience in a pharmacy setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires verbal communication, standing, walking, sitting, and handling various objects. The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and maintain good vision is essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The work setting is primarily an office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. Occasional travel may be required.
