Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Holmes Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Progressive Care / Telemetry unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on current evidence-based practice.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
- Document all nursing care, changes in condition, response to therapy, treatments, procedures, and referrals on patient records.
- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education as directed by the plan of care.
- Contribute to the patient experience by providing service with sensitivity and respect for patient needs, expectations, age, cultural, and individual differences.
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.
- Certification(s) as required by specific unit.
- Must meet unit-specific care requirements.
- Must be able to speak/understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.
- Must have visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
- Must have corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Must be able to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted up to 33% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift.
- Potential for exposure to bio-hazardous waste and known or unknown diseases.
This position is located at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Florida - Brevard County-Melbourne.
