Corewell Health is seeking a skilled RN to join our team on 6 North, a 32-bed surgical floor at Dearborn Hospital. This dynamic unit offers a unique learning environment, with a focus on surgical conditions including urology procedures, major and minor abdominal surgeries, and more.

About Dearborn Hospital

Dearborn Hospital is a Level II trauma center and a major teaching and research hospital, recognized for clinical excellence and innovation in various fields. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the advancement of patient care.

Scope of Work

The RN will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, following Corewell Health policies and procedures, and will partner with patients and families to develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications
  • Associates in Nursing Required
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
  • Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire
  • Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
