Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Access Community Health Centers, Inc. as a Primary Care Medical Provider.

About the RoleAs a Family Medicine Physician in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to our patients, including health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical exams, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Diagnose and manage various medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a Family Medicine residency program or equivalent experience.
- Licensure to practice medicine in Wisconsin (or eligibility for licensure).
- Board certification in Family Medicine (or board eligibility).
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority in good standing.
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a community health center or similar setting.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by our patient population.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the organization.
