Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PCU

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN PCU to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Johnson City, New York.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary of $2,733.00 per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting and possess strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including strokes, TBI, craniotomies/cranioplasties, back surgeries, VP/LP shunts, and seizures
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a PCU setting
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and Cardiac certifications
  • NY license in hand
  • NYSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, with occasional floating to ICU, Surgical stepdown unit, or ER
