Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical/Neuro Intensive Care Unit team at Mercy South. This is a part-time opportunity working nights, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

About the Role

As a Neuro ICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and neurosurgical patients. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Experience working in a Neuro ICU or critical care setting
