About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team on a travel assignment in Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to work with top healthcare facilities and gain new skills.
Job Description: As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be crucial in ensuring the success of our surgical teams.
Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician, with a strong background in patient care and medical terminology. You should also be certified by a recognized accrediting agency, such as the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). A strong understanding of infection control and safety protocols is also essential.
