About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical team at Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patients with friendly, efficient, and timely delivery of prescribed medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive impression through words and tone.
  • Operate cash registers proficiently, handling cash and other forms of payment, and balancing registers.
  • Stock and manage inventory, removing expired items and ensuring accurate labeling.
  • Process prescriptions accurately, screen for program eligibility, and clarify any issues with prescribers.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Kansas Pharmacy Tech License.
  • Successful completion of the Pharmacy Technician I checklist within 90 days of hire.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and computer work. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and have good vision, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

Starting salary is $15 per hour, with pay based on experience.
