Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Expert to join our team at Intuit. As a Tax Expert, you will play a critical role in helping our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation to customers
  • Manage product/software inquiries and resolve customer issues
  • Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate and timely solutions to customers
  • Document interactions to maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software
  • Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner
  • Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
