Job Summary

The Dialysis Nurse Manager is responsible for managing dialysis facility operations and supervising nursing personnel to ensure safe and efficient dialysis treatments for all patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, clinical excellence, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule patients and staff, and provide direct patient care when needed
  • Ensure all hemodialysis treatments follow DCI policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement standards of care, providing patient care in accordance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, and DCI's Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
  • Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff
  • Coordinate DCI, QAPI, and risk management program implementation with the quality and risk manager
  • Collaborate on patient care initiatives with medical director, social worker, dietitian, charge nurses, technical managers, staff nurses, and equipment technicians
Qualifications
  • Accredited nursing degree required (BSN, AA, RN)
  • Six months' dialysis experience required, one year dialysis experience preferred
  • One year clinical nursing experience required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Current MA Registered Nurse license
