We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a fast-paced retail setting.

About the Role

This is a full-time, home clinic position in Anderson, SC, offering 30-40 hours/week and an every other weekend requirement. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling.
  • Complete administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness, chronic condition management.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
  • Epic experience preferred.
