Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for assembling solar array racking, properly sealing all roof penetrations, and installing all relative equipment. Construction experience is a must, as well as a background in roofing and electrical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and Install Solar Array Racking: Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment.
  • Troubleshoot System Malfunctions: Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
  • Complete Projects within Established Policies and Procedures: Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
  • Meet Time Frames and Budgets: Complete projects within time frames and budgets.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.

  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous Construction Experience: More than 1 year of previous construction experience is required in electrical, roofing, or framing.
  • Solar Experience: Solar experience is preferred.
  • Electrical and Roofing Experience: Electrical and roofing experience preferred as well as experience bending EMT conduit.
  • OSHA Compliance: OSHA compliance.
Driving Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Work at Heights: Must be able to work at heights.
  • Physical Ability: Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Must use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
