Clinical Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Support Specialist to support the delivery of patient care in our metabolic insulin facility. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in administering intravenous doses of insulin using portable pumps
  2. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment protocols as needed
  3. Provide education to patients on infusion treatment procedures
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop treatment plans
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years clinical experience preferred
  • Medical Assistant certification or diploma
  • BLS certification
  • Strong understanding of diabetes management
  • Excellent communication skills
