Position Overview:
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has been a prominent name in the security sector for over five decades. We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Systems Installer who possesses a positive demeanor and relevant industry experience.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, operating from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, focused on the installation of security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install commercial solutions for access control, fire protection, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Utilize power tools and work at heights using ladders or lifts.
  • Run wiring and mount devices in commercial settings.

Compensation:
Hourly wage of $22.00.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with power hand tools and working from heights.
  • Ability to run wire and install devices in a commercial environment.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call service rotation with fellow technicians.
  • Flexibility for weekend or second shift work and occasional out-of-town installations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills for client network interactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training is advantageous.

Physical Demands:
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Must be capable of walking and standing for extended periods. Comfortable with reaching, climbing (ladders/stairs), and bending. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively. Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
