Procurement Strategist for Indirect Categories

At Cumberland Farms Inc., we're seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key player in our indirect procurement department, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies across various categories, including IT, professional services, facilities management, and HR services.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a category management role focused on indirect procurement. A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required, while a master's degree is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical/health/dental coverage, 401K with company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, health savings account, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, improve service levels, and ensure quality and compliance.
  • Managing supplier relationships, conducting negotiations, and securing contracts that deliver value across quality, service, and cost.
  • Conducting market analysis to understand trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities within the procurement landscape.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement strategies with business goals.
  • Identifying and delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process optimization.
