Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Maintenance Worker who is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care within a secure institutional environment. This role is essential in ensuring the operational integrity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and repair the physical infrastructure of the facility to maintain safe and secure operations.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring and electronic components of machinery.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the established maintenance plan.
  • Supervise and monitor inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance or construction is required.
  • Equivalent technical or trade school courses in maintenance or construction may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Familiarity with building construction and operational systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
