Pipe Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at Hot & Cold Supply, a leading pipe, valve, fitting, and plumbing supplies wholesaler in Chesapeake.

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting the production manager in the building of assembled products with moderate supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pulling parts, jobs, and general movement of product
• Coordinating with project managers on installation
• Installing systems used to transport water, waste, gases, or liquids
• Cutting openings in structures in preparation for pipes
• Selecting all materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of two years' experience working with mechanical tools
• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Strong communication skills to effectively present information to other employees

Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, occasional lifting up to 125 pounds, and safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Salary: $40-$60 per hour based on qualifications and experience
