Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-time Audiology Technician/Hearing Conservationist to join our team in Winnemucca, NV. This role will involve performing audiometric testing on employees enrolled in the hearing conservation program, recording test results, and reviewing audiograms for abnormal findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audiometric testing and record results
  • Review audiograms and select abnormal findings for review by physician
  • Notify employees of standard threshold shifts according to OSHA regulations
  • Retest employees with standard threshold shifts and schedule within OSHA requirements
  • Perform otoscopic exams and refer employees for further testing or medical treatment as needed
  • Coordinate annual maintenance and calibration of audiometers and testing booths
  • Provide education and training on hearing conservation to employees
  • Assist in the selection and fitting of hearing protection devices
Requirements
  • Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certification preferred
  • 2-3 years experience as a Hearing Conservationist in an occupational health setting preferred
