Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Eastern State Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide quality comprehensive nutritional care to patients. The successful candidate will maintain accurate nutritional documentation, serve as a liaison to medical and nursing personnel, and assist in menu planning and nutritional analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality comprehensive nutritional care to patients
  • Maintain accurate nutritional documentation
  • Serve as a liaison to medical and nursing personnel
  • Assist in menu planning and nutritional analysis
Requirements:
  • Completion and maintenance of the requirements for being a Registered Dietitian (RD) as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in nutrition, dietetics, or a health-related program
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of nutrition and dietetics, regulations and standards governing nutrition programs, and principles of supervision and program planning
Working Conditions:

This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency, pandemic, or facility need. All ESH positions may be required to work different shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays, and/or overtime as requested, in the event of an emergency.
