Job Overview

The Area Facility Maintenance Technician role involves inspecting and maintaining multiple facilities, performing repairs, and collaborating with general managers to resolve maintenance issues. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently across a large area.

We are looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained. If you have a strong background in preventive maintenance and are able to work independently with minimal supervision, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect multiple facilities following a comprehensive facility maintenance assessment
  • Perform preventative maintenance repairs, including minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing services
  • Collaborate with general managers to review and resolve open maintenance issues
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and report steps taken for work order resolution
  • Respond to corporate project requests and surveys, resolving issues and reporting findings to supervisors
  • Communicate with multiple teams and management on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure compliance and consistency regarding maintenance projects
  • Advise managers of maintenance concerns and ensure creation of work order requests

To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver's license, and at least five years of preventive maintenance experience. You should also have prior experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as basic construction practices and intermediate mathematical skills.
