Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in Washington, D.C.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of hazardous materials and cleaning equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Technologist (RT(R))
- 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
