Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Substitute Van Driver to transport students between school and home, as well as on field trips and school activities. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, ability to attain necessary certifications, and experience working with students in a supervisory capacity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to attain First Aid, CPR, and ICC Physical cards
  • Ability to drive vans and pass type 10 vehicle test requirements
  • Knowledge of immediate geographic area
  • Ability to work with students in a supervisory, supportive, and positive capacity
  • Desire and ability to work a split shift with reliable attendance
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity
  • Ability to work efficiently with special needs children
  • Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and submit fingerprints
